5 ways you can support the Commonwealth War Graves Foundation
Supporting our charitable foundation is easy. Here are five ways to get behind the Commonwealth War Graves Foundation.

Come to an Event
Our events are a great way to support us while also enjoying a fun or inspirational evening or day out.
We put on a variety of events up and down the country each year. From our magical Evening at Brookwood concert series to our intimate Commemorations at Christmas carol service, and more in between, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
At our May 2022 Brookwood event, we attracted nearly 400 families. They came to see some amazing musical acts such as the award-winning folk trio Harp & a Monkey and the Sandhurst Military Wives Choir.
We’re gearing up to go again in 2023. We hope you can join us for what promises to be a very special evening.
Want to learn more about Brookwood and our other events? Head on over to our Events page for more details and ticket information.
Take part in a virtual challenge
Our virtual fundraisers are a great way to learn more about the men and women commemorated by Commonwealth War Graves and a great way to get out and enjoy some good exercise, while also supporting the work of the CWGF!
Users are encouraged to cover a certain distance with stops and milestones along the way relating to Commission cemeteries and memorials across the virtual route.
Our next challenge, Walking Our War Graves: The Western Front, is coming very soon. Participants will be covering 125 kilometres across a virtual route from Thiepval Memorial to the Missing of the Somme to the Menin Gate in Ypres. Along the way, you will pass various cemeteries and memorials where you can discover stories of sacrifice from across the Commonwealth during the First World War.
Participants can also order special T-Shirts and be awarded medals upon completion.
Sound interesting? Keep your eyes peeled for more information, and get your walking boots out, as we’ll be releasing more information about Walking Our War Graves: The Western Front soon. Watch this space!
Thank you for supporting the Commonwealth War Graves Foundation

Together, we can continue to tell the stories of the fallen of the world wars to keep their memories alive for future generations to explore.
