Commonwealth War Graves Foundation at Clacton Air Show

Between 25-26^th August, the skies over Clacton, east Essex, will be alive with soaring aircraft and aerial displays.

Clacton Air Show is the largest event of its kind in the region. Every year, it attracts thousands of aviation and history enthusiasts.

Planes from all eras, shapes, and sizes will be taking to the skies across the town’s stunning seafront in a celebration of all things aerial.

It’s also Clacton-on-Sea’s 150^th birthday, making the air show extra special. Part of the town’s birthday bash includes displays by the iconic Red Arrows and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is particularly close to our hearts at the CWGF. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission commemorates many pilots and service people who gave their lives during those crucial months in 1940.
