Recapping our fantastic 2023 carol service

We would like to say a huge thank you to all of the guests, volunteers and special performers who joined us at our 2023 Christmas Carol Service.

We were delighted to welcome so many of you back to the historic Guards’ Chapel for another evening of festive cheer in support of the Commonwealth War Graves Foundation.

This year we were joined by Gyles Brandreth and Dr Hilary Jones MBE, both keen supporters of our work, and the supremely talented mezzo-soprano Emma Brown, who performed alongside the Guards’ Chapel choir.

After the service, some of our guests joined us in the Officers’ Mess for canapes, mulled wine and mince pies, as we unwound after a magical evening and toasted another successful year for the Foundation.

Our Director of Fundraising, Laura Stoker, said:

‘The CWGC Carol Service in support of the Commonwealth War Graves Foundation is a highlight in our annual calendar. Every ticket sale and donation helps us to keep the stories of those in our care alive. This is a wonderful time of year to come together to remember and commemorate the fallen, and this year it was made even more special by our talented special guests. We are so grateful to everyone who joined us for the Carol Service to support the important work of the Foundation.’
