Eyes On, Hands On

Would you like to be part of our national volunteer programme, helping to maintain the thousands of headstones the Commonwealth War Graves Commission cares for?

We launched our Eyes On, Hands On programme in 2019 and, since then, we’ve recruited and trained over 2,000 volunteers across the UK – very special people who provide valuable support to the CWGC by carrying out inspections on war graves scattered across more than 12,500 locations.

As a volunteer, you will have comprehensive training and ongoing support from the EOHO Regional Coordinators, as well as opportunities to get involved in more exciting initiatives.

At the moment we are looking for new recruits in very specific towns and areas, so we can reach 100% coverage of our sites by March 2024. Hit the button below to discover your volunteering opportunities.
